Hi Martin,

I hope these images and the accompanying descriptions are helpful. I felt this would be a lot easier than emailing you a bunch of photos.

To help with the descriptions, I will call the LEFT and RIGHT side of the cap as if the point of the clip is face down (as if it was in a shirt pocket)

Above: The pen is naturally pointing off-centre. (It points right when the clip point is face down)

Above: Here the pen clip is centred. Note how the spring in the mechanism seems to be very strong on one side, pushing on one side of the hinge causing the clip to point to one side

Above: This is what the right side of the cap looks like when the clip is centered

Above: This is what the clip looks like when the clip is pointing right and off-centre

Above: When the clip is centered.

Above:  This is what it looks like when the clip points LEFT this time - Please note that when the pen clip points left (the opposite direction) it self centers and does not stay there - therefore this image is me holding, showing how the hinge looks when it points the opposite direction

Above: This is what the clip looks like when it naturally moves off centre to the right
